The new home is a big thing we’re thankful for this year. What a great thing for our residents’ quality of life. As you can see, the lot is graded and seeded. We have a little concrete patio out back. If you look closely, you can see that the heat is on! We’ve got drywalling going on. We hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.
The event went great on Saturday! The Times had a couple of front page photos today. Thank you so much to the sponsors and volunteers, vendors and chef and organizers, who made the day such a success for SU. We were at a loss when the state cut our Workshop funding last year and don’t know where we’d be were it not for the support of the Streator community.
Get ahead of the landfill ban by bringing your electronics to SU’s Electronic Recycling Day, between 10-5 on Thursday, December 1. Free of charge we’ll take your computers and related hardware, copiers, printers, scanners, cell p hones, computer cords, fax machines. If you’re worried about your data, for $10 we’ll remove your computer hard drive and shred it in front of you that day.
Holiday gift certificates available: 25 pounds of shredding for $5.00. Is it really November already?
