What do we Do?
Streator Unlimited provides a wide range of services from answering questions about epilepsy to connecting you with available resources in Illinois. We offer:
Virtual support groups through Zoom
In-person support groups at locations throughout our service region
In-person meetings with a member of our staff at your location
Help with accessing benefits, medical services, transportation, and combating social isolation
Guidance for counseling needs and housing requirements
Guidance for counseling needs and housing requirements
Personalized plans to address individual needs and partnership to help you achieve results
We also provide:
Peer support
Caregiver support
Help with navigating insurance
Identification of and linking up with medical professionals
We can provide as much or as little support as you desire. We’ll gladly walk with you every step of the way or simply be here to provide support as you see fit.
Who Qualifies?
Anyone with epilepsy or seizure disorder of any age who resides in our service area qualifies.
How Do You Sign Up?
Fill out the online form or give Program Coordinator Stephanie Harcharik a call at 815.673.5574 to start the process. Anyone can contact Stephanie with questions about epilepsy, assessment of support needs in areas of life and health, and linkage to needed resources.
Where is SU’s Service Area?
Streator Unlimited's Epilepsy Support and Resources are available in Northwest and Central Illinois thanks to a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services.
